Challenge #121 Card 2 at Glitter N Sparkle

And here is todays
2nd installment.
I do have to apologise for the
quality of the pictures this week.
I left it all a bit late and it was dark,
plus playing with my Nephew was sooo exciting.

My 1st Project this

week is:-

Swirly Bird Digi Stamp

To begin with I used a Pre-cut White Card

(stash)
Then using Mint Green Card
(stash)
I cut out a Square to fit on the inside
of the Card
(so you can see it through the cut-out gaps)

Then I printed my Image out twice 
  on White DC Paper, 
flipping one of the Images over 
so that it faced the other way.

Then coloured them both in

using my Promarker Pens

                                                           Bird -         Pastel Beige

                                                                              Yellow

                                                                              China Blue
                                                                              Sandstone
                                                                              Cinnamon

                                                           Branch -    Apple

Next I Die-Cut  out 2 Swirly Branches
using Swirl Die
(Marianne Designs)
from the Mint Green Card.
And on the end of each Swirl I placed
4mm Green Pearls
(Anita's)
Around the Swirls of the Image I used 
Iridescent Mint Green Glitter
(Glitter Magic)

Down the inside edges of the fronts
I used Pastel Green 3D Pearl Effects
(Dovecraft)
And on the cutout sections 
I placed 3mm White Pearls
(Anita's)
on all the crossovers.

What a super Sunday,

I have had a wonderful time playing with my Nephew,
Brumm-Brumm goes the Tractor
Choo-Choo goes the Train,
Da-Da goes the Child lol.

I just can't believe how big he is,
but guess thats because I expect him to still be
new-born size as I have never seen him.
But its not long till his 1st Birthday now.

So this week I have 2 cards for you.
Lets start with the 1st one,
which has been done for one of my Partners
Niece's Birthday.

When finished I Die-Cut it the Image out

using a Large Scalloped Square Die
(X-Cut).
And went around the edges with the
Amethyst Promarker.

To make her a bit more textured and sparkly I added a bit of glitz.
to her Tiara I added
Holographic Gold Glitter
(Glitter Magic).
Then on her Wings where there were little circles
I added 2mm White Flatback Seed Pearls
(stash).
I filled the rest of the circles with 
Pastel Purple 3D Pearl Effects
(Dovecraft),
and also used it on the Vest.
And for her Tutu I used 
Glossy Accents
(Ranger)

To finish the Card off
I added to the top and bottom of the Card face
a strip of Pearl Drop Bead Strand
(Craft - SIL).
I also added 2 White Ribbon Flowers
(stash).

Well for a change theres a bit of  positive and happy news,
My Brother has come over from Denmark for a visit.
So I am hotfooting it to my Parents,
as he has brought my Nephew which him.
and I can finally meet him in person.
And as you can imagine I am bouncing all over the place with excitement.

My Project for this

Beauty And The Beast Digi Stamp

To begin with used an A4 sheet of Black Card

(Ross Papers)

which I folded in half to make a Rectangle Base Card.

Next I chose a Clip Art Image of a Clapper Board on my computer
and also a Film Strip which I copied twice.

Inside the Clapper Board I placed the Digital Image

and printed them all off

on White DC Paper.

I coloured in the Image

using my Promarker Pens.

Using some Spare White DC Paper 
I stamped out the Letters for 
'Happy Birthday'
using Fancy Alphabet Rubber Stamps
(GC Rubber Stamps)
and Tuxedo Black Ink
(Momento)
I then fussy cut out each Square Letter,
then placed them on the Film Strips.

I edged the rectangle of white paper with the Image on with 
Silver Rhinestone Mesh
(stash)
And added 3 Silver Brads
(stash)
 to the Hinge of the Clapper Board.

Then I added 2 Black Feathers
(stash)
and 2 Cream Paper Roses
(Craft Shop - SIL)
All to show a bit of the Silver Screen
Pomp and Circumstance.

And my Final touch was adding Glossy Accents
(Ranger)
to Beauty's Hair.

Sunday Again,
So sorry I just ran off after my last Blog.

Its been a very sad week for me and my family.
We had to say goodbye to a very wonderful Lady,
my Great Auntie, who is going to be sadly missed.

Then the day after her funeral
we had to make the heart wrenching decision
and say goodbye to our beloved family dog.

So understandably I have used the pre-colored Digi Design
rather than colouring it in myself.
This is the 1st time I have used one for my cards
and I kind of feel like I've cheated.

Leo Lion Digi Stamp

To begin with I used Mustard Card

(stash)
and Cut it to make a A6 sized Base Card

Then I printed off the Coloured Digital Image
 3 times on White DC Paper.
I Die-Cut it the Image out

using a Large Framelits Oval Die
(Stampin' Up!).
Then fussy cut out the rest of them for Decoupaging.

I used a smaller Oval Die as a guide,
drew around it with the Moss Promarker Pen.

For the Backing Paper I used 2 different ones
from Safari Kids Matstack (with Glitter)
(DCWV)

To personalise this Card 
I used the Nephew Clear Stamp
(Papermania)
with Natural Pigment Ink
(Dovecraft).
The Happy Birthday Clear Stamp 
and the 1, s + t individual Clear Stamps
I arranged to suit my tastes
(Me-To-You)
(Tuxedo Black - Momento
Cocoa Brown - Dovecraft)

To finish the Card off
I added 2 Googly Eyes to the Lion
(stash).

2015 - Week 3 - Moving House

Wow,

How things can change in just one day.
This is going to be a very quick post as I have
to shoot straight off back to my folks house.
will explain all laters.

A Moving Home Card

This is a stunning Clear Stamp Set

Gardenia - Papermania - DoCrafts.

To begin with I used 

White Pearlised Card for the Base Card,

And Pearlised Dark Grey Card 

as my Backing Papers along with

Purple/White Floral Paper and White DC Paper 

for the extra Layers.

I coloured the full Stamp in with my Promarker Pens,

And cut the Rectangle Image out.

Fussy cutting out the Stamped Archway and the large Lilac,

And decoupaging them up. 

Butterfly was Punched out on Lilac Paper

The flowers were punched out of the Floral and Lilac Papers,

then built up in 1, 2, 0r 3 different sizes.

Leaves were Cut out and coloured in with Promarker Pen.

Sentiment printed off on Computer.

And finally I added Purple AB Rhinestone Gems to the 

center of each Flower and 

all along the Butterfly body.

Then I printed off the Image

and coloured it in

Then using Pink/White Checked Gingham Paper

Die-Cut out the Large Cross.

For the Background I used some Floral Pink Paper
(stash)
To which I wrapped around it some
White Satin with Silver Heart Ribbon
(Boyes Haberdashery).
Next I handmade a Bow using 
Pink/White Checked Gingham Ribbon
(stash)

To finish the Card off
I added 2 1cm Sparkle Pink Jagged Rhinestones
(stash).

Well so far so good,
I seem to be keeping up with all the crafting,
despite RL butting in lol.

Had to run up to my Mum and Dad's

using the 8.5cm Circle Die
(Sizzix).
And fussy cut out the Shield off the other Image,
and Decoupaged it up.

and from White Card
(stash)
I Diecut out a Large Square Ornate Frame
(X-Cut)

Then I added
Iridescent Pastel Pink Glitter to her Veil,
and the Circle Border of the Image
On the Shield I added Holographic Gold Glitter 
to the Cross and 
Wine Red Glitter to the Edge
(all from Glitter Magic)
On her Headband I used
Pastel Pink 3D Pearl Effects
(Dovecraft)

Next I used some White Lace
(Boyes Haberdashery)
and placed it all the way around my Image.
And then Handmade a Bow using 
White Glitter Ribbon
(Dovecraft)

To the top Left Corner of the Card
I added 1 Large White Paper Rose,
and 2 Small Pink Paper Roses
(stash)

To finish the Card off
I added 4 Pale Pink Pearls
to each corner of the White Square
and 1 Magenta Pearl to the center of the Shield.
