New Challenge #199 at Glitter N Sparkle

Back again,
Well we have been having some fun this week.
I enrolled Kelly in some Rock Climbing lessons,
which she is totally loving.
We have also been designing and making our own T-shirts,
which though fun can take time especially 
when you have to let it dry between each colour.

My mum also got her involved in Jam making.....
and she has made her very own 'Raspberry and Gooseberry Jam'
-Yummy.

It has been a very Crafty/Homemaking week,
with lots of long Dog Walks on the Moor.
Enjoying getting out and about without
Computers and Phones.

To begin with I used Square White Base Card

and a Smaller Square of Yellow Swirl Paper

Next I printed off the Image
on White DC Paper
And coloured it in using my Promarker Pens.

I then Diecut the Image out using

I Die-Cut out 2 Butterflies from the 
Butterflies and Dragonflies Set

Lastly I added diagonally across the Card
a Metallic Rainbow Ric-Rac Ribbon

New Challenge #198 at Glitter N Sparkle

Hello,
Well I found away to keep the little one entertained,
we have gone up to my Parents.
We came up yesterday and have a whole load of fun things to do.
Though after 1 week she is really missing her mum and sister,
dont think she is going to manage the whole of the summer holidays.

Next I cut a slightly smaller square of Green Paper

I then cut an medium abstract Square of Yellow Flower Paper
(stash)
and a small square of Yellow Card.

Next I printed off the Image
on White DC Paper
And coloured it in using my Promarker Pens.

New Challenge #197 at Glitter N Sparkle

Hello,
I just want to wish my Dad a very Happy Birthday this week.

Also its that time Summer Holidays have arrived,
Kids broke up on Friday and the youngest has now descended
on us for the duration.
Now I need to find things to do to keep a 12 year old entertained!

Art Deco Clara Digi Stamp

To begin with I used Large White Square Card
(stash)
from which I rounded off the Corners using
10mm Corner Punch
(X-Cut)
Next I cut out a Square of Light Blue Card
(stash)
which I Embossed using the
'Garden Party' Embossing Folder.
(Jennifer Ellory - Cardmaking + Papercraft)

Next I printed off the Image
on White DC Paper
And coloured it in with my new 
Scribblicious Pencil Set

I then off-set the Image and Die-Cut it out
using Scalloped Oval
(X-Cut - XCU503406)

Using Tuxedo Black Ink
(Momento)
I stamped a Thank You sentiment.
from the Cavendish Ladies - Putting on the Ritz.
(Kanban)

Across the middle of the Embossed Paper
I added a Blue Ribbon with Black Pattern

Finally I added 3 x 6mm AB Light Blue Pearls

on the Oval.

New Challenge #196 at Glitter N Sparkle

Hi,
Yup we have been home all of 2 days 
and all that lovely holiday feeling has gone already.
So how are all you Parents feeling on your last week of freedom.

YES I'm sorry its true

The SUMMER HOLIDAYS are nearly upon us.

My Project this
week is:-
Mermaid Dawn Digi Stamp

For my Base Card I used a pre-made Circle Easel Card
(stash)
I then cut 2 Circles of Blue Glitter Card
(stash)
and cut the top 1/3rd off one of them.

Next I printed off the Image
on White DC Paper
And coloured it in using my Promarker Pens.
Satin
Putty
Coral
Mandarin
Canary
Pear Green
Moss
Olive Green
Pastel Blue
Blue Pearl
Sky Blue
Cyan
Aegean
Cool Grey 2

I then fussy cut out the Image 
around the Circle and the Mermaid
and then backed it on to a circle of
Variegated Blue/Yellow Vellum

I then went around all of the 
'Water Space' of the Image,
and filled it with Iridescent Ice Blue Glitter.
(Glitter Magic)

Before sticking the Image on the Card,
 I covered the Base/Blue Card with Silver Glitter Net,
(stash)
which I cut to fit the shape of the Base Card.

For the Sentiment I cut out a circle of Plain White D/C Paper
(stash)
of which I cut the Top off.
Using Tuxedo Black Ink,
(Momento)
I used the 'Birthday Splash' and the 'Finial'
Clear Vinyl Stamps
(Acid Drops + Whatnots)
Then placed it on top of the Cut Blue Circle
which I placed on the bottom part of the Easel Card,
and raised it up with tabs.


To make the card look more underwater,
I added some Green Foam-bobble Flower Stalks
(Poundland)
and some Seashells.
(Craft)

Finally I handmade a Bow using
1cm Blue/Silver Ribbon
(Boyes Haberdashery)
and added it to the Corner of the Sentiment.

Hello again,
and with this being a Friday you all know what that means.
Yes its MAW time.
Well I am feeling so relaxed and destressed,
escaping for a while from the strains of life has been wonderful.
Though its back home today, to normality.
Wonder how long this relaxed feeling will last!!

I put some 4.5cm Antique Pink Lace
(Boyes Haberdashery)

Next using Bright Green Paper

I die-cut out Floral Flourishes Swirl No.4
(Joy Crafts)
I then added 2 Paper Foam Flowers
(stash)
on which I coloured the tips with my 
Dusky Rose and Amethyst Promarker Pens.
I also added 1 Accordion Flower.

Finally I handmade the Bow from
1cm Beige Stiched Linen Ribbon

and placed it in the 
Top Right Corner of the Card.

New Challenge #195 at Glitter N Sparkle

Hi,
My Parents have gone away for a fortnight on the Boat,
so they have kindly let me and my other half take over their house
(this also involves looking after the Chickens - 
yay fresh eggs every morning).
So this is our mini Summer Holiday for this year I think,
I know we will get another one in a few months.
But it is nice to relax, kick back and enjoy the odd Jacuzzi.

To begin with I used a Square White Base Card

I then Cut Smaller Squares from Navy Blue Card
and Red Card
(both from stash)

Next I printed off the Image
on White DC Paper
And coloured it in using my Promarker Pens.

The Sentiment I typed and set up on the Computer,
using Red Writing with a Navy Blue Shadow.
I then positioned it near my Image 
so it would Print out at the same time 
and I could cut it in to a Square

I then took some 1cm Diamond Pattered Ribbon

which I placed down the Left Side 
and across the Bottom of the Card.

I also added some 10mm and 6mm Silver Stars
(Star Confetti - Tesco)
above the Image.

Finally I added Crystal Glamour Dust
(Art Deco)
to her Wings and the Stars on her Dress.
